This policy explains exactly what this website collects, why it collects it, who it is shared with, how long it is kept, and how to have it deleted.

Who This Policy Covers
This website is operated by Brandon Rearick, a licensed Colorado real estate broker, license 100077271, affiliated with eXp Realty. References to “we” and “us” mean Brandon Rearick and the staff or contractors who help operate this site.
This policy applies to www.brandonrearick.com and the forms hosted on it. It does not govern eXp Realty corporate systems, third-party listing portals, or any other website you reach by following a link from here. Those services publish their own policies, and you should read them.
Information We Collect
We collect two kinds of information: what you deliberately submit, and what is recorded automatically as you browse.
Information you submit
- Your name and email address, which are required on every contact and lead form on this site.
- Your phone number, which is optional on every form.
- The interest you select, such as buying, selling, investing, or a home valuation.
- The content of your message, plus any optional detail you add, such as a referral name, how you heard about us, or a listing link you paste in.
Information recorded automatically
- The page you submitted a form from, stored as a source page so we know what you were reading.
- Campaign parameters present in the address bar, specifically utm_source, utm_medium, and utm_campaign, so we can tell which referral or campaign sent you.
- Standard analytics data described in the cookies section below, including approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, and time on page.
We do not ask for and do not want sensitive information through this website. Do not send Social Security numbers, bank or account numbers, copies of tax returns, or full financial statements through a web form or ordinary email. When documents like that are genuinely needed, your lender or title company will provide a secure portal for them.
The calculators on this site run entirely in your browser. The figures you type into the mortgage, affordability, seller net sheet, and rental ROI tools are not transmitted to us or stored on a server. When you share a calculator result, the values travel inside the link you copy, so treat that link as you would any other personal detail.
How We Use Your Information
- To reply to you and provide the real estate guidance you asked for.
- To prepare information relevant to your request, such as property options, pricing analysis, or financing next steps.
- To follow up about your stated goal and timeline, and to keep a record of our correspondence.
- To connect you, with your agreement, to a lender, inspector, or other professional you asked to be referred to.
- To understand which pages and topics are useful, in aggregate, so the site can be improved.
- To meet record-keeping obligations that apply to licensed real estate brokers in Colorado.
We do not use your information for automated decision-making, and we do not build advertising profiles about you.
Where Form Submissions Are Stored
When you submit a form, the details are written to a hosted database used solely for handling enquiries from this website. Access is restricted to authenticated accounts. The public website can add a new enquiry, but it cannot read, edit, or delete existing ones, which means submissions cannot be listed or retrieved by visitors.
Our hosting and database providers process this data on our behalf, under their own security and confidentiality obligations, and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. Data is stored on servers in the United States.
How Long We Keep Your Information
- Enquiries that do not lead to a working relationship are kept for up to three years, then deleted, so we can recognize you if you return and continue a conversation.
- Records connected to a transaction we represented you in are kept for at least the period Colorado real estate record-keeping rules require, which is currently four years from the relevant date, and often longer where tax or legal considerations apply.
- Aggregated analytics data is retained under the retention window configured in Google Analytics and holds no directly identifying contact information.
When a retention period ends, records are deleted or irreversibly anonymized.
Your Choices and How to Request Deletion
You can ask us at any time to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can also ask us to stop contacting you entirely, and we will.
Send your request to brandon@brandonrearick.com with the subject line “Privacy Request”, or use the contact page. Include the email address or phone number you originally used so the record can be found. We aim to respond within 30 days, and we will not charge you or treat you differently for making a request.
One limit applies. Where a record forms part of a completed transaction file we are required to retain, we can restrict its use and stop contacting you, but we cannot delete the underlying transaction record until its retention period has run. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights under Colorado or other state privacy laws, including the right to appeal a decision we make about your request.
Security, Children, and Changes
Traffic to this site is encrypted in transit, and access to stored enquiries is restricted to authenticated accounts. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, and email in particular should be treated as an unsecured channel.
This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with a new last updated date. Material changes affecting how we use information already collected will be described plainly at the top of the page.
